The place was clean and everything was excellent. the staff were really helpful and caring; they were around the whole time. - the breakfast in the morning was delicious, wonderful, and complete with a very good taste and a free cake. - Had a just perfect stay for 2 nights.

Marvellous and fantastic location, the hotel is next to a bus station. Friendly service, the breakfast is enjoyable.

Recently refurbished rooms. Wonderful and stunning location, really close to a popular nightlife bar/restaurant, the train station, and the local shops. - A good choice of food in the hotel's in-house restaurant.

The large king room is new-fashioned with a double bed, a nice balcony and a beautiful view. The restaurant food is outstanding, and the breakfast offered is very very good with a free cake and very good taste, for instance.

A location, you won't need to ask information desk as well, just come out of station and look infront.

The hotel has great location in front of the train station and in the middle of Engelberg. The staff was very friendly, too. You could see that it's an aspiring place, although yet only partially renovated. Value for money:)

It needs renovation, but it seems that its in progress.

Location was fantastic, right opposite the train station, and with the bus stops for all of the ski slopes right outside the door.

The hotel is in a great location, just next to the cable car station, town center, and train station. the staff at the hotel are very polite. - the room is affordable, tidy, equipped with a safe, mini bar, and central heating, and boasts a stunning view of the mountains.

The room was big and comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was decent. It's also conveniently located across from the Engelberg train station, so access was easy.

The floor in the room creaked wherever we walked. The walls were not sound-proof so we could hear the people next door walking and talking (at 5;30 in the morning). The bathroom in the floor above leaked and water dripped down our bathroom wall, causing the floor to be half wet.

The location is right opposite the station, so from Zurich flughafen to resort this hotel is awesome. The staff were very helpful

Our room wasn't ready on arrival and didn't get sheets until the following morning even after letting them know we would arrive late. I was also not aware that the 3rd bed would be a fold out as apposed to an actual bed

This hotel offers a delicious and very good breakfast with very good taste. "the location is great and close to a popular nightlife bar/restaurant, the bus station, and Engelberg.

The size of the rooms and multitude of antique details bring charming hints from the 19th century

Unfortunately the floors have become extremely noisy due to modern heating - bring your own earplugs ;-)

Definitely not the manager or the quality of hotel....overpriced run down

lots paint missing squeeking floors lack of maintenance upkeep....manager unfair....small rooms....chipped furniture...lack of security for ski boots...plaster missing in boot room...boot room did not have a boot dryer....bad
